Just how bad IS this AMSI guy? And how bad is it when people like @Nefy1956 and @undermj and others keep promoting him?

These administrators of the “SIM” – “Stranger in Moscow” forum site – keep posting a “Black Book” of AMSI’s detractors as a standing warning to other people. I am among the people who they refer to here – ones they accuse of being shady, defamatory, destructive, slandering, offensive, invasive, a “wormtongue” and so many other things, including “improper and illegal.”

Oh really?

First, there is NOTHING illegal about questioning the existence of “Michael Jackson” on Twitter, nor is challenging people’s belief in this. You begin by making an assertion that people are engaging in illegal behavior, and you name those people. If you cannot support your statement by showing which activities are illegal – you are immediately guilty of defamation of all those people. Accusing someone of a crime when you cannot support that accusation can easily be identified as defamation, whereas calling someone a name, challenging them, arguing with them, even insulting them – none of these are crimes. If it arises out of an argument, then it cannot be referred to as “harassment” or “abuse.” This is by no means absolute, but is generally true, and if you wish to make a case for those accusations, it has to be pretty clear cut. If someone simply offends you – it is not illegal.

Then, there is NOTHING improper about questioning the existence of “Michael Jackson on Twitter.” It IS ABSOLUTELY QUESTIONABLE. It SHOULD be questioned.

This person has offered no proof that they are Michael Jackson. All anyone is relying on is “intuition.” How reliable is intuition on Twitter? There, all you have are words. You can’t look into a person’s eyes, witness their body language, hear their voice. You can’t see or hear them at all. And when you use your intuition as to whether someone is trustworthy – do you rely on their words, or do you rely on so many unspoken signals?

“Women’s intuition” is an expression for a reason. From childhood, a woman comes to understand that she must come to rely on very subtle parts of communication beyond words. Generally speaking, men aren’t trained to worry about being taken advantage of; they are trained to rely more on their own strength and that “aggression wins.” Women are trained not to be so aggressive, so they need another defense, and this is to notice these things. Many women even mistake this for being psychic because often they cannot plainly identify what their subconscious noticed. It might be a slight change in tone of voice; it might be a quick eye movement; it might even be a smell. Notice how NONE of these “intuition” cues are available on Twitter!

So this is the problem with online fakes: People fill in all the missing gaps themselves. In this case, you have no confirmation, no credible person vouching for this person’s identity, no Twitter “Verified” status.

The fan community has been plagued by fake “Michael Jacksons” and fake “informers.” To my knowledge, and I’ve done a lot of research here, not a single one of them has been credibly verified beyond doubt. Many people have been hurt by these people. So without such confirmation, it is absolutely irresponsible to vouch for them yourself. This is because other people who follow you, will tend to rely on your confidence in the matter. (This in itself is also irresponsible, but it cannot be denied that this is a factor, and you know it!)

This is not a matter to be left to “belief.” This is either Michael Jackson, or it is not. If it is Michael Jackson, this is completely provable, and it is up to the person making the claim to prove it – it is not up to anyone to DISPROVE it. If he will not prove it – then he is not to be believed until he can. It is as simple as that.

No amount of “it seems like him,” “it sounds like him,” “I sense that it is him,” is ANY good as credible evidence. A while back, I asked many who supported him if they would stake their personal reputation on it actually being him. Most declined to make such an absolute statement. Only a few did, however they still had no solid proof to offer aside from “intuition.”

And you know? This is a BIG DEAL THING we’re talking about here. This concerns the worldwide celebrity Michael Jackson after all! Such a thing SHOULD NOT be taken casually. Your endorsement of this opens the door for this person to speak for Michael Jackson – whom you claim to care about very much. This means you endorse what that person has said and will say. What if at some point you decide, hey, maybe I was wrong? Do you just say “Oh well, too bad,” or do you consider the many people who relied on your confidence? If you finally realize he is a fake – what about YOUR reputation then? You MUST consider that weight.

So let’s look at some numbers: Right now the world contains roughly 7 billion people. He is considered a “world-wide” celebrity, but you might factor out some of those people… perhaps the very young and the very old, and people who are in parts of the world beyond the reach of most celebrity. So let’s say that “just” six billion people know who Michael Jackson is.

Those six billion people would have had access to the information that Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009. It was reported by the Los Angeles Times, CNN, the New York Times, CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, the BBC… ALL the major news outlets, newspapers, magazines, TV, etc. These news agencies relied on word from trusted paramedics and emergency personnel and doctors from the UCLA medical center. They further relied on word from trusted coroners and other medical professionals, in addition to many other credible witnesses whose identities were stated publicly and who can be verified; probably at least a hundred such people. Meanwhile, as a “hoax believer,” you have relied on mostly anonymous people, or people you had never heard of before, who told you “not to believe what you see in the press” and who proceeded to use mainly evidence they collected from, guess where? The press – to tell their own, different story, that Michael Jackson somehow survived. If this matter were taken to court, not one piece of “evidence” these people have presented would even be admissible.

You have a highly publicized court trial which was televised live, in which the fact of Michael Jackson’s death was not even in dispute. This trial would have cost the State of California a profound amount of money to carry forth – and as it was a high profile case, and televised, you can also be sure that all of the best resources were used. A usual attorney’s fee can be from $300-$500 per hour – so you can do the math.

The number of “believers” from the fan community who feel that Michael is still alive may be difficult to determine, but based upon average views of videos and Twitter users who follow known “hoax investigators” and Facebook and hoax forum subscribers – it may be generous to figure that perhaps there are up to 10,000 “believers.” The active participants in this community seems much smaller than that, given how easy it is to spot many of the same people following the various compartments of it all. But just for a fair number, let’s say there are 10,000. (There could be more “out there,” but the most steadfast believers are following along in social media.)

So, using these generous figures, it could be reasoned that one in every 600,000 people who heard the news of Michael Jackson’s death on 6/25/2009 is a “believer.”

Of those 10,000 or so people who are “believers,” from the latest Twitition appeals asking for support of AMSI, none has collected more than 40 signatures. However, AMSI currently has about 240 followers. So, let’s be generous there too, and say there are some 200 people who might believe that he is Michael Jackson. So that would be roughly one out of every 50 “believers” who put faith in that idea. Or, one out of every 30 million people who have heard of Michael Jackson’s death.

If you believe that AMSI is Michael Jackson, you are in a very minuscule minority. Even if you think the numbers should be more generous – you would still be in a very minuscule minority. This is just to establish how “reasonable” it is to assume that he is on Twitter and that this is him. You may argue that it’s not proof – but it must be one of the first things considered. Is “Michael Jackson faked his death” itself, believable? If you can say that 10,000 people do believe it, then you could argue that it is. What parameters are used then? Of those 10,000 people who are a very small minority of people who have heard of Michael Jackson’s death – they are at the very least allowing for a highly unlikely scenario to have occurred – but at least, possible in some way. For me, I’ve said the only way I could see it being remotely believable is if there was a life-threatening situation; perhaps something dire enough that all the protection Michael Jackson could afford, would still not be sufficient to prevent. And if he wanted to, surely he could afford protection similar to what the President receives? And it wouldn’t be enough? If it was a “witness protection” scenario… perhaps. But, if so – what happened? Who was he a witness against? It doesn’t appear to be anyone from Sony, or Tommy Mottola, or any of his family… certainly none of the “enemies” that AMSI has named along the way. What could have transpired that was so important that it required one of the world’s biggest celebrities to entirely disappear? Permanently?

As unlikely as either of those situations would be – they WOULD require a permanent disappearance. For him to reappear on Twitter saying “Look at me, I’m Michael Jackson everybody!” would be absolutely foolish. If there was ANY situation important enough to fake information that was given to the entire world to accept as fact – it was PRETTY DAMNED IMPORTANT then, wasn’t it! Important enough to have at least 100 known, credentialed professionals to go against their vows to their professional standards and LIE, in many cases, on paper, under oath, under penalty of perjury; under the risk of their lifelong-built credibility. Important enough to deprive the world of Michael Jackson and create grief in his millions and millions of fans; enough to prevent him from continuing to be a voice in the worldwide stage.

So, come on then! Once you’ve stretched credibility enough to reach that conclusion – if you at least allow that it’s POSSIBLE despite a profound number of logical reasons against it being at all likely – how reasonable is it to then stretch it much further and figure that he would risk the reputations of everyone who would have had to be involved, and that he would basically mock all those who mourned his passing – so he could come on Twitter and speak to – conveniently, too – a community of people who just happen to believe he faked his death?

Do you stretch credibility even further to allow this Michael Jackson to then say so many things that very few would consider him likely to ever say? The original premise of him being on Twitter is ridiculous enough – but okay then, consider what he has said.

AMSI has said that Michael Jackson’s statements about several things, on the record, were untrue, including his public statement about having vitiligo. He proclaimed that he never loved Debbie Rowe, the mother of two of his children, nor did he love Lisa Marie Presley. He stated that he did not approve of his daughter’s career choice to be an actress (which would at least indicate that he has no say nor influence in the matter). He once told a woman she deserved to be beaten like an old potato sack. He gave his word that he would return before the end of 2011. Then he gave his word that he would return before the end of 2012. And of course, he didn’t. And, he stated that his brother and his father, along with Tommy Mottola, framed him for child molestation charges back in 1993 (and, as Mottola was freshly the head of Sony, and Michael’s catalog was not a matter of negotiation at that time, what possible motivation would Mottola have had to discredit his company’s biggest moneymaker – and what motivation would any of Michael’s family ever have to do the same, if AMSI is also to be believed that they were after his money – if such a thing would clearly have a notably negative effect on his income?)

You have there someone who stated quite directly that he did not have a telepathic ability with other humans. Someone who stated clearly that “TP” was generally used for bad purposes – who then, just one month later, invited his human followers to engage in TP sessions with him!

You have there someone who once stated, in a series of tweets about singing, that one should “shout, whisper and scream” with their voice – which NO voice teacher would ever suggest as these activities all strain the vocal cords.

You have there someone whose account has been suspended three times (four if you count his second account that was also suspended at the same time, permanently). Someone who claimed that he asked the estate to have it suspended, against all logic, when he could have simply closed the account himself. This also shows someone who has no supervisory relationship, no control over the activity of the estate of Michael Jackson.

You have there someone who has time and again been specifically critical of President Obama, even calling him a murderer and posting a dozen photos of dead children, foreign war casualties, to illustrate that point – and meanwhile, around the time of the election, we have his son, Prince, sharing his own Twitlonger essay about how touched his father was when Obama was first elected; telling his children what an important, historic moment that was.

You have there someone who, shortly after he appeared on Twitter, named off several “hoax investigators” whose pages he endorsed, with no indication he had ever spoken directly with any of them. Supposedly brand-new to the community, he knew who all the “major players” were. This seems at best, unlikely, and completely unnecessary – because if he were to appear as himself, he would not need to endorse people who were giving “clues” about him being alive; he would not need to endorse them. Yet, in that scenario, he specifically named Pearl Jr, whom most of the community knows, as a dear friend he loved. And meanwhile, Pearl Jr specifically stated she did not believe him.

The only “hoax investigator” who did NOT reject him, was one he specifically endorsed six separate times early on – @Dmovie27, Steven C. Douglas (aka @DrumsandD4 ), who is the YouTube user “TheMicHEALproject20.” Of all the hoax investigators, he was the only one to cultivate a “crew” of followers he had become a “teacher” to. This crew had instructions to retweet him, each other, and AMSI as part of their duties. His “prophetic” ideas were later “proven” by things AMSI said, which served to further secure his standing as his crew’s “Captain.” AMSI also early mentioned a specific meaningfulness behind the number “27” which just happened to be part of Doug’s Twitter name. Both AMSI and Doug declared that the “hoax” was over; that there was no longer any hoax. Shortly after AMSI was shot down by Pearl Jr, Doug told his crew that he no longer felt Pearl was on the right track.

Early last year, Doug privately told one of his crew that he was certain that AMSI was NOT Michael Jackson, but simply “someone who was close to the situation.” Yet, he continued to publicly endorse AMSI AS Michael Jackson. Two years before, Doug had stated he felt a higher power was guiding him to speak FOR Michael Jackson in his videos. Doug also stated he felt that the Illuminati had selected Michael as a “chosen one,” and that Michael was actually Jesus and would be resurrected as our Messiah. Doug stated that John Lennon might have been the “chosen one” if not for having decided to become a family man – but since Michael’s children were a “mystery,” he would not be prevented from being chosen. I also observed Doug retweeting a very long Twitlonger that AMSI had posted, within the very same MINUTE that it was posted.

When I posted my blog identifying Doug as AMSI in August, the next day AMSI appeared and began criticizing this. I thought, this is strange – AMSI had endorsed Doug’s page, but never tweeted at him in the eight months’ time until then. When AMSI began doing his TP sessions in June, he even asked for a “hoax investigator” to participate, and he also asked for a male to participate – and oddly, he never called out to Doug for this. Doug, who was taking full advantage of the “endorsement” and was constantly retweeting AMSI, also never volunteered for any of these sessions. Later, I dared Doug to unblock his account, and days later AMSI, who had finally begun tweeting at Doug, conveniently suggested that Doug open his account, which Doug did, saying “Aye aye, Colonel!” (of course AMSI would deserve a higher rank than “Captain.”) By this, even though Doug clearly stated he did not believe this was Michael Jackson, he maintains the public appearance of “obeying” as if he is, which continues to serve his agenda.

What agenda? In early 2010, Doug appeared on the “hoax” scene with his new channel called “TheMichealProject,” just barely a month after he had posted a non-hoax-related tribute video about Michael Jackson (offering no special insights; just a bunch of clips of Michael edited together to one of his songs) on his own Dmovie27 channel. That video received a much higher viewership, and a warmer response, than his previous videos had – which were mostly clips of old “Blaxploitation” films from the 1970s whose viewer comments leaned toward conspiracy theories, and Doug calls that channel his “Revenge Channel.” These were films unavailable on home video, which Doug sold copies of at a flea market stand, which he felt a fondness for because they “told the truth.”

With Doug’s new channel, he actually spelled Michael’s name wrong – and when he was called out on it in the MJHD forum he had just joined to begin promoting his videos, he quickly manufactured the excuse that he meant to do that because the misspelling contained the word “heal” in it – though since he was asked about it, it’s evident that he hadn’t bothered to explain this on his channel. Some months later, he closed the channel, citing both a security breach and malicious comments – and later restarted the new channel, TheMicHEALproject20. He actually also went back into the forum three weeks afterward and edited out his posts about this to effectively erase them – however some people had already quoted him in their responses, and he couldn’t erase those. Seems a bit sneaky to go in and erase forum posts though, doesn’t it!

Those words come from a book called “Michael Jackson: The Man Behind the Mask,” which states that Michael told Jordie these words as one of “six wishes he had to repeat three times a day so they would come true.” This book, co-written by one of Michael’s ex-publicists (whom he had fired), heavily trashes Michael with a vengeance, making assertions that he was a closet homosexual, that he was a constant manipulator, that he hated his own race, and that he felt his family was trash. This is apparently one of the first books Doug read when in early 2010 he decided to start making videos about Michael Jackson.

What stands out about this is that Doug apparently read this book and gained a feeling of admiration for this version of Michael Jackson – the greedy, manipulative, even crazy, one. One of his first videos went right in this direction as he explored the Martin Bashir interviews and highlighted any clips there which seemed to portray this version of him – the one who could go on an expensive shopping spree; the one who told of running home with his newborn daughter before she could even be cleaned up. As you read through the feed of AMSI, it becomes apparent that THIS is the version of Michael Jackson that is being impersonated there.

This man, who at the beginning of 2010, didn’t even know the right way to spell Michael’s name, began taking the time to read books about him to craft his grand opus “project” – first making videos with a different viewpoint from other hoax investigators to set the stage. If you consider that he was informed by tabloid journalism right out the door, and found a fascination for that version of Michael Jackson – as he rolled out his project, he could tell the story of crazy Michael Jackson in a different way: That this is a version of him to admire. All he needed to do was to tweak the presentation so that it wasn’t outright seeming to trash him, but instead – to tell it “from Michael’s viewpoint” as though he was crafty and conniving; never anyone’s victim, but instead a type of heroic figure in this regard – he would not be taken advantage of by anyone; he was the master of his own destiny. Told in this way, he could present a Michael who had a grudge to pick with the world, but who carried an attitude that “he would get even with it.” This is how he set out to collect followers – ones who might be inclined to see Michael Jackson as this impenetrable fortress of strength – a superhero.

Doug is still reading, too, to become as much of an expert about Michael Jackson as possible, so he can embed AMSI’s feed with the tiniest of details which people have read before, to help the impersonation ring true. Some months back he posted a Twitlonger which just contained an entire passage from J. Randy Tarraborelli’s book. He is studying. Recently AMSI declared that Michael didn’t like chocolate, and who came forward to defend this? Doug’s “crew” members, Valentina & Galina, who swear this is mentioned in LaToya’s first book (the one she later disowned after emerging from the influence of her abusive ex “husband” as being full of untruths). Gee – can you imagine that perhaps this was also one of the first books that Doug was interested in, and that he probably posted this information to supplement AMSI’s statements to his crew in their secret blog? (Or as they call it, the “glob”)

Through Doug’s feed, he has made it evident he has no respect for President Obama nor for Oprah Winfrey – and he has also been seen discussing the Illuminati and their plans for Michael Jackson – all themes which have also appeared in AMSI’s feed.

At one point Doug had an idea – he asked his followers to tweet happy messages to me with their favorite YouTube link. At that point he stated the number of followers he had and added the number of followers AMSI had as the possible “reach” of this request. Now, why would he automatically include AMSI’s followers? He could have looked at the follower counts of each of his “crew” who were likely to comply and added those numbers – yet he just counted the AMSI followers as if they were his own.

When AMSI’s @LAMJ_SNARL account was suspended in December, this happened on the same day that Doug suddenly declared that he felt his job was done and was leaving, and that “no one was going to suspend him.” Very interesting that he would take this action on the same day AMSI was suspended! And from my own knowledge, both of these events were directly related to a call that was made to the FBI that morning. Doug deactivated his account and began tweeting on his lesser-used blocked account, @DrumsandD4. Soon after, AMSI took advantage of Twitter’s “second chance” policy by more clearly labeling his account as a “parody role-playing” account. Doug finally decided to reactivate his @Dmovie27 account after 29 days, just before the 30-day period after which a closed account is deleted forever. He resumed tweeting there with it blocked to the public.

And there are a great many other things I’ve pointed out along the way, too – but here you have a man who saw an opportunity. An opportunity to manufacture his own stories about Michael Jackson to fit his own ideologies, for an audience he thought just might listen to them.

You have here a man who has openly professed an intense dislike for “obsessive fans,” and this was the subject of one of his very first videos – including such “out of control” depictions as someone who talked with someone on her cell phone while in a prayer circle at Michael’s resting place at Forest Lawn. You have here a man who has shown himself to have women-hating issues. And where is he looking for followers to listen to his made-up crap? Right where there are lots of very devoted fans – most of whom are female.

So, Nefy, and your fellow administrators at the “Stranger in Moscow” forum – look at what it is you’re supporting there:

1) Most people in the world believe Michael is dead and they are satisfied with the evidence.
2) Of the very small percentage of people who believe he could have faked his death, most of them believe he did it for an important, possibly life-endangering reason, and he would not risk his or other people’s lives so he could “tweet.”
3) Of those who believe that even this could be a possibility, most of them do not agree with the version of Michael Jackson presented here; believing that he would never say so many of the things that this one is saying.
4) Meanwhile, you have someone in clear view who has a distinct motive to create this Michael Jackson impersonation to help him appear prophetic and to help him attract his own followers.

You just won’t see how ridiculous this is because you’re not looking around at the rest of the world – you’re huddled inside a “community” of a few dozen people who are helping encourage each other’s delusions. You want a good example of someone who’s been hurt? Look at Clare. She feels a spiritual longing to heal and to feel all the goodness that exists. She was maybe struggling with problems, but we’ve seen that as recently as two years ago, she was determined to persevere and conquer them. What happened? She heard from “Michael Jackson,” emailing her because of her participation in a web site devoted to the “hoax.” She became deeply involved, but never met that person – it was all email, at his whim, and he would disappear for long stretches and leave her hanging.

She finds AMSI and thinks this is the same person – she ignores that he doesn’t seem to even recognize her. He talks about his “evil” family; she believes it and starts believing that they are out to get her, too! She spends much of her time being angry, trying to defend this person against his detractors, and this anger helps to destroy whatever loving energy she had been trying so hard to keep. She becomes a true victim, and she lashes out at people like John who try to reel her back in from the edge – she moves from being a victim to being a victimizer who wants to harm all she sees as being against her, even if they speak to her with love while trying to convince her that AMSI cannot be real. But YOU – you approach her, embrace her – you encourage her to keep being a victim and to keep believing in the very thing that tries to destroy her spirit.

Many of the people following and tweeting at AMSI are holding onto hope, against all good logic and all the odds. Why? Look at the people who have been hurt by him; maybe they’ll tell you why it hurt so much when they finally faced the realization he wasn’t real. So many people identify with Michael Jackson because they were subjected to abuse as children. They see him as someone who overcame so much, and he stands as a shining light to them; a beacon of hope. It was JUST TOO HARD to accept that he had died… he meant too much to them; they needed him to live, to be alive.

They saw you, and others, talking with AMSI so confidently. This gave them hope. Look! Other people think he is Michael, too! There must be something to this! So their hope grows. Your endorsement of this person, by following and talking to him, gives them reason. Their own lives are filled with so much sorrow and pain… they need this so much.

But he goes and promises, so very strongly, that he will return – in 2011. And he doesn’t. Many lose faith, but keep hoping. He promises London, and the 27th, and the Olympics are opening there on July 27th… and nothing happens. They give up, very saddened, maybe they don’t stop believing, but they decide he is very cruel to keep promising and teasing. They unfollow, believing that Michael Jackson is a very cruel person, to fake his death, to leave, then to tease he will return and not do it.

They throw out their collections; give them to the thrift store; sell them; burn them. They want nothing more to do with Michael Jackson.

He promises “1000 percent” that he will return in 2012. He doesn’t. And now he promises to return in 2013. Anyone taking any bets on this?

WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS DOES TO PEOPLE?

They question him, ask him for proof; what does he do? He blocks them. Or he says something cruel. He tells them they deserve to be beaten. He only follows his “favorites” – yet many have been tweeting at him with such love and he never answers, never follows. He goes on, he talks about how members of his family are evil; he shows pictures of dead children while trashing the president. He tells people to engage in “TP” with him… but they’ve never done this before. They try, desperately wanting, hoping to communicate with him… but nothing comes. They see others talking about what a great experience they’ve had with him in TP – so “what’s wrong with ME? Why can’t I connect with him like they can?”

If you cannot recognize this impersonation for the pure cruelty that it is, you are blind.

The other day he decided to “reveal” the true parentage of Michael’s three children. Even if he WAS Michael, to do something like that publicly would be horribly pointless, and is indeed cruel to those children, AND the people he names as being their “real fathers.”

When are you going to “wake up and smell the coffee”? Or do you think you’re just happier living in a fantasy dreamland where Michael Jackson knows you, favors you, keeps promising you the world and delivering not a bit of it?

No, no one “hired” anyone to try to thwart this man’s efforts on Twitter. The people who speak out against him are people who care about Michael, and about his fans who share this common appreciation of the man, who truly don’t want to see them get hurt.

You go ahead and make your little “Black Book” pages to warn people against those who are trying so hard to save people from being hurt by this sick person. The more people who finally wake up and realize what he’s doing, and what he’s done, and how many people he has hurt right to the core… they’ll have you to blame for your part in promoting this man’s continuing cruelty.
